What to expect
All applicants will be contacted to ensure that they are suitable to participate in the trial.The study process will be explained and any queries about the study will be resolved.
An initial consultation will be undertaken to ensure that there are no additional reasons that would exclude you from the trial. Certain medical conditions, medication requirements or inability to attend appointments could exclude you from taking part in the study.
Once you have been successfully enrolled in the study, you will be selected to receive either SWIFT Microwave therapy, or cryotherapy for comparison.
You would be expected to attend up to 4 treatment visits. Overall, there will be approximately 8-13 study visits which includes treatment and review visits over 14-17 months, depending on your treatment response.
Travel expense compensation will be available.
